Why did we create Step into Tango?
If there’s something that saddens me, it’s that many people don’t give themselves the chance to learn to dance and make too many excuses not to try.
This happens because people have misconceptions about what dancing is. That’s why we’ve created a way to learn social dancing from a dynamic, fun, and relaxed perspective while still learning a lot.
This workshop provides you with a proven step-by-step system.

Maddie is a coach and has worked in personal development for years.
Together, they have taught tango from an approach that combines personal growth, physical development, and the search for connection.
Our mission
Tango MJ’s mission is to spread the beauty of Argentine Tango and its culture, so that everyone – regardless of their experience, income, or age – can enjoy and benefit from this wonderful dance and music. We see tango as a powerful tool for personal growth and social development.
For the past three years, people who go through TangoMJ’s programs have consistently said the same things.
They say things like, “I didn’t realize how much value I would get,” “I would have paid much more,” or “In just this class, I’ve learned more than in months—why didn’t I try tango sooner?”
Our focus is on helping people discover tango and improve it for social dancing. We believe a better world is possible through tango.
